It is one of the ‘profession blocks’ of the latest Irwin M. Fletcher Fletch with the afro 6’5 6’9 shirt village and pillage update, placing one will give a nearby villager the opportunity to enter the fletching profession. Unfortunately, it is one of only a few professional blocks (also smithing table) that doesn’t offer any interface for crafting by the player or other utility function, probably only because the developers didn’t think of anything cool and new to do with it. Fletchers (like all the tool, weapon and armor smiths) can be hit and miss as trading partners, and they don’t really reveal their value (or lack thereof) until the last couple of levels when they’ll have an enchanted bow or crossbow and some tipped arrows so you’ll have to buy a lot of arrows and sell a lot of string and flint before you know if it’s worth it. Best. Decrease arrow speedway much more than others may get caught up in some types of arrow rests like the prongs.

Best Irwin M. Fletcher Fletch with the afro 6’5 6’9 shirt
Very hard to do with Irwin M. Fletcher Fletch with the afro 6’5 6’9 shirt proper fletching jigs. Required curved vanes, and when they are warped from usage it is harder to straighten out the warped part without ruining the curve. As for the arrow, tumbling isn’t so much the issue but fletching does provide drag to make the nose-heavy arrow inherently stable, and if the fletching is helical it makes the arrow spin. A lead ball from a smoothbore rifle would almost always experience this, while rifling imposes a spin along the axis parallel to flight. No Magnus effect + gyroscopic stabilization = much more accurate bullets. The feather was never actually used whole but cut into a fin-shape from the face of the feather using a length of heated wire bent into the outline of the desired fin-shape, to produce a uniform, clean, cauterized finish in all three flights on each arrow.
