The series even features multiple interviews from both Joe Exotic and Baskin. Tiger King is a docu-drama series on Netflix about people who run private zoos and/or breed and keep big cats such as lions, tigers, ligers, cheetahs, etc. It appears that the title itself refers to Joe Exotic, the most colorful of the featured individuals, though I am not certain. It is also a documentary crime drama, as Joe Exotic is currently in jail for some sort of murder-for-hire plot. I am only 1/4 the way into the docu-drama series so far, so I don’t yet know the specifics.

The show is rather batshit crazy because all the individuals it focuses on Joe Exotic Tiger King shirt on are total nutcases. Words cannot describe how utterly insane these people all appear to be and strangely enough how they all ended up being millionaires. Was I watching a live-action South Park Spin-off or a documentary? I simply don’t know. I have to express my admiration for the costume designers because they made sure to get the message across: these people have shed any pretense to living in our reality. Main character Joe ‘Exotic’ has a sense of style that reflects his soundness of mind.
