A lot of things with cycling require some fun I like my racks big and my meat rubbed cooking shirt DIY projects. I haven’t had a need to mount a backpack to a cargo rack on my bike, but I did buy a Burley Travoy trailer to bring my books and what not to school. That was a tax return purchase and nod everyone has several hundred dollars to spare. Most recently (a few weeks ago) I started carrying a pizza delivery bag mounted to my rear rack because I started delivering food with uber eats. I measured the bag and cut a small sheet of kraft plywood to just over half the dimensions. I then marked and drilled holes for bolts that would then clamp it down securely to my rack. The wood effectively extended and widened the size and usefulness of my rack, and it cost me about $5. I keep bungees on it to secure the bag itself I can now carry really huge pizzas.

Depending on the size of your backpack, I like my racks big and my meat rubbed cooking shirt you may be able to get away with mounting a milk crate to your rear rack, and just tossing the bag in there and securing it in with either bungees or a cargo net. Usually, you look around and find one someone stashed on a side table or on the floor. If none are handy, you ask the dealer. Either someone at the table will hand you one or the dealer will have a floor person bring you one. By the way, there’s nothing shameful about asking dealers questions like this. I’ve been playing serious poker for nearly 50 years, and I ask questions all the time in new places. There may be places that collect all the racks and don’t want you looking around for one. You may not be sure if another player considers the rack on a nearby table to be hers. Just speak up and say what you want.
